The snakehead is a predatory fish with a long and slender body, and a protruding lower jaw. It weighs in the range of 10 lbs to 15 lbs and can grow to 3 ft. It is usually found throughout Asia.

The snakehead ambushes its prey (fish, frogs, snakes and crustaceans) in grassy areas. The snakehead is displacing native fish. It can survive out of water for four days and can move around to find new environments.
